Far better teachers are available, more coherent messages are available, better recordings are available, but our members benefit from the continuity that is possible from not missing a message when they are not able to attend a Sunday morning. We believe the Sunday morning teaching time is a time of communion with God and connecting the body. It is harder for the body to connect with those not physically present. It is a holy and sacred time, not a mass-market teaching product. As such we don’t think of Sunday mornings as lectures (adults don’t learn best by lecture is a motto we live by anyway), we don’t think of them as sermons (because they certainly aren’t that). We do think of them as teaching, but teaching of the body by the body. All participate, by speaking and listening, but also by thinking, pondering, understanding, and implementing it in their life. These recordings are the result of those times. If they are of benefit to you, we welcome you to them.
